Northern Virginia Mental
Health Institute is a state psychiatric inpatient facility seeking a psychiatrist
to provide psychiatric evaluations and treatment of adults with mental
disorders. Leadership of an interdisciplinary
treatment team and liaison with fellow hospital disciplines is intrinsic to
this role. Leadership of hospital committees to help further best hospital

evidence-based practices desirable. Unrestricted medical licensure by the
Virginia Board of Medicine is required. Board Certification preferred but board
eligible accepted. Medical degree and completion of ACGME-approved residency
training in Psychiatry is required. Post-residency practice and medical training experience
desirable but not mandatory.
