This position is in our Food Service Department and will be responsible for food preparation and production, food monitoring and storage; serve patients on a cafeteria line, and perform daily cleaning assignments. The successful candidate will have knowledge of food production and sanitation procedures, knowledge of food service equipment, good communication skills, and the ability to follow verbal and written instructions in food preparation.
Experience working in food preparation is required, preferably in a hospital setting. Experience in cook-chill and cook-serve food service system is strongly preferred. This position is on the afternoon shift from 10:00am to 6:45pm; works every other weekend and some holidays.
